The 29 November 2025 We enjoyed an autumn forest bath. On this occasion, we took the group to a beautiful setting with a variety of trees (chestnut, holm oak, olive, gall oak, oak, strawberry tree, pine…) and numerous shrubs, mushrooms and birds.
Before we begin, let’s set the scene for the session with a lovely Japanese concept: Shoganai, which translates as «I accept what is beyond my control». People could draw on this concept if anything made them feel uncomfortable during the session.
We then ventured into the forest with our senses wide open. We tried out various activities to sharpen our awareness through our senses, relearned how to walk, and explored our artistic side, inspired by nature.
Life is made up of moments. This experience was a combination of unique and unforgettable «moments». I don’t think any of us participants will ever forget the magical moment when the leaves fell from the chestnut tree, at just the right moment… or the scent of damp earth and aromatic plants… or the wonderful closing session where we were able to share experiences and feelings with like-minded people without being judged. Everyone was free to share from their own experience, so that we could all learn from one another. The closing of the session was wonderful. Before the talking circle, one participant treated us to a Hang Drum session and we were able to enjoy tea and biscuits together.
Without a doubt, an unforgettable experience.
